f.a.l.c. is the acronym of Ferant Alpes Laetitiam Cordibus, that is: could Alps bring joy in hearts. This ‘wish’ welcomes the hikers that reach a mountain dew in the Alps near Bergamo.
f.a.l.c. is also the name of a series of site-specific installation that I’ve started to realize in 2009. Ripping some paper sheets and stratifying them, I reproduced in scale really existing Alpine panoramas. The result is an evanescent landscape, having reference to the real one just by the information in the caption.
Only with particular light conditions the shapes are fully outlined and disclose themselves.
