untitled – wedding rings

This work was born from a reflection on the sacredness and fragility of emotional bonds.
From small blocks of transparent soap, I sculpted two rings that resemble wedding bands, both in shape and size.
The sculptures, like the jewelry they imitate, are wearable; but unlike them, they are delicate and ephemeral objects. Their formal purity is paired with a paradoxical fragility.
