the house of glass

The sculpture’s fragility is emphasized by the material itself: while a house of cards may fall and be rebuilt, a glass house allows no return to its original form — once shattered, its uniqueness is lost forever.
The satin-finished walls diffuse the light, creating a subtle transparency that simultaneously reveals and conceals the interior.
In this way, both the architecture and its intimate space are rendered vulnerable, exposing a delicate balance between protection and exposure.
